Being a Writer on Social Media

To be honest, I‘m not excellent at it right now.

Just having a look.

I may not have mentioned this previously, but I have been taking a break from most social media. I can’t say all as I look at the top posts on Reddit in my chosen subreddits, r/AnimalsBeingDerps/ , r/justwriterthings/, r/urbanfantasy/, r/aww/ and r/writers/.

And no, I am not interacting, okay? Well, not much.

Full disclosure, while looking up the real names of the subreddits I follow to pop into the above paragraph, I got distracted and started looking at posts on Reddit instead of finishing this.

My point was, I have not been on Facebook for a very long time (I really don’t need my or my husband’s creepy exes checking up on me or worse, wanting to be friends.

“Hi, I know I stalked you for a while in 2005, but let’s be Facebook friends now.”

As for LinkedIn, that is not the job networking site it thinks it is. I eventually put a photo of me on my wedding day in the profile pic when I still had it active. I have a stable job now and hopefully I will never have to activate that profile again.

More recently, I factory reset my phone and lost my logins for Instagram and Twitter and decided that was fine by me. And it has been.
