Diary of Being a Writer; Week 103
And week three of my writing only life.
This is week three of my ‘10 Week Writing Only Schedule’.
I still love it.
It still terrifies me.
I am torn between just wanting to concentrate on the WIP and also wanting to find ways to make my writing pay more regularly so that I don’t have to look for a new job when the 10 weeks is up.
If I was better at pitching, that might make it easier to do both.
I am not sure what the word count was on the WIP two weeks ago, it is now 34,639.
I have eight weeks left of this writing every weekday thing. I will still be on track if I write 1600 words each day, allowing for the occasional jaunt off to Adelaide Writers Week. Or maybe a great idea for an article will come to me, and I will need to write and pitch that.
I got a respectable 1800 done yesterday and still went to the vets and ran some errands.
I did not get any meditation or exercise done, so I am going to try and add them in today.
Crafts and pitching to publications are still yet to be crossed off even once.
Coffee is still being made and consumed regularly. Speaking of which must just go and get my second cup before opening-up Scrivener.
