Diary of Being A Writer; Week 41

Monday 10th December
Okay, strap yourselves in it is going to a bumpy week.
There are lots of distractions this week, the usual, and then some extra commitments, socialising some of it Christmas related. All I know is I just can’t do it all or my head will get wonky.
If any writing gets done, I will be thrilled.
I will take any writing or editing as a win.

An online writing for children course I have had my eye for a while was on sale this morning, so I have taken the plunge and signed up for it with B’s Flash Cat series in mind. It should be fun and interesting. This is all a learning process, so I am happy to keep learning.
My favourite realisation about this journey is that I will continue to learn about writing for as long as I continue to write.

Tuesday 11th
I stopped off to get some straw after school drop off and accidentally ended up with two black chooks.
Then because it is hot today, I had to put some extra shade up in the backyard for them.
I am now at my desk, but I have work calls to make. If I get on with it, I should still be able to get some writing done before pick up.
