Plans never go quite to plan, do they?

Monday 13th May
So today is not strictly a writing day, but I did get my morning pages done, and I am hoping to get some writing adjacent things done today like catch up on some Dream Writer tasks and podcasts.
And it looks like I will have three full writing days this week so that will be good.
I am going to attempt some planning and plotting. Obviously, I didn’t do this with my memoir, I kind of knew what was going to happen. I feel like it might be a good idea to plan even if I go off the rails as I write, this way I will know I have a whole novel not a short story before I embark on it in a serious manner.

Tuesday 14th
Yesterday did not go to plan. Both my computer and phone decided to play up while I was using them for work. Is it wrong that I was glad the computer broke while I was doing work stuff, not the writing stuff, saving me from that awful ‘Oh my god did it save that last bit of writing before it crashed?’ moment.
This means today will now be yesterday, with added urgency.
I also plan to pitch to Kill Your Darlings as they are looking for slightly more frivolous pieces, well they say they are, so that feels doable to me or at least ‘relevant to my interests’.
Morning pages are done so now it is a matter of…
