Okay, I need to change everything, again.
I keep getting this urge to tap dance for you, to entertain you as a reward for reading this diary.
But this isn’t about you. It is about the process. The reality of striving to be a writer. The daily struggles and minutiae of learning and growing. Monday 27th of May
I have done my morning pages and got 700 words of an article done.
I have four mornings to write this week, so I want to make them count.
I am now going to do some very not fun trawling through old notebooks for more anecdotes for my memoir. The feedback was generally positive but some more background on my friends and my work. So the journals I grabbed the stories about the various boys I dated out of now have to be gone through again to find interesting bits of my life. I guess things like going on crazy nights out with my friends or getting into fights with people on a crazy night out when I was a security guard.
I just opened up my first ever WIP that was going to be a fictionalised version of my first year as a comedian and realised that there are some descriptions of friends and work in there that would be…
