Diary of Being a Writer; Week 99

I need to get better at not getting distracted.

It is a public holiday here, but I am foolishly still going to try and see if I can get something done.

I should edit some more of the memoir and schedule it to go up, but it really messes with my head at times, and I don’t feel like going there today. Apparently, I should give all those memoir stories better headings; so people can find them and so they have a chance or being curated. The headings make sense as part of a whole, so they are what they are for now. They are stories of dating disasters with a headline that tells you which wanker you will be reading about, i.e. The Con Artist. I don’t think I should change it to ‘What I learnt when I dated a little con artist who was too young for me.‘ Mainly because I am not sure, I learnt anything!

Anyway, today it is all about the Vampire WIP and maybe some podcasts and Webinars.

Well, I tried. I really am a bit shit at writing when there are others in the house. Even if they aren’t deliberately interrupting(which sometimes they are), they inadvertently distract me with their various goings-on. Thankfully I will have a couple of days later this week to write.
