The Joy of Journaling

Diary of Being a Writer; Month 66.

It would be much easier not to write today.

It would be much easier to tidy, to get on with my course work or just do nothing at all.

It’s been a hectic few weeks.

I am tired, my brain is full to bursting with new knowledge, new clients, new problems to help with and new thoughts about what skills and tools I can teach them that will be the most helpful.

However,I love writing and I am clinging onto this blog as proof that I am still a writer, that I am still writing and so here I am, writing.

Sure, it is probably going to be mostly about non- writing related things, but it still counts, goddammit!

Actually, I know how I can tie in my current all consuming role as a counsellor at a new practice taking on all new clients with writing.

Journaling.

I am going to assume that if you are reading my scribblings here on Medium, you are at least familiar with the concept, if not an avid fan, of journaling.

When I moved house last year, I finally managed to throw out a ton of my old notebooks. Within those covers were the ramblings of a madwoman, literally.
