It has been hard lately. Not because of the cancer per se but because of the way it is affecting my life.

All these appointments and things I need to do and feel I should be doing.

There I go “shoulding” myself, something I am forever telling my clients not to do. It is hard to shake the feeling that my time is finite.

Not because I am going to die, but because I am going to be tired.

I had booked myself a haircut for Saturday and I just decided to make it a colour as well. Oh, the extravagance! But I know that I need to be doing nice things for myself. Not just running around and trying to get everything done. Although admittedly it still falls under that category, as I have been putting it off for ages. It was knowing I will be going for surgery “within four weeks” that made me finally book it.

When the hell is that call coming?

The last few days got on top of me, partly because of my clients, especially the ones that are feeling anxious because I haven’t had my surgery yet.
